             With the goal of attracting a diverse audience to the play, the
             
              Tierno Bokar
             
             production team targeted a broad range of media outlets. Outreach to the African community was executed in French and English; articles and ads ran in neighborhood newspapers, citywide publications, and appeared on Web sites; flyers were posted in Harlem; and special ticket prices were offered to students and community members.
